Not quite an emergency video… but almost! In back-to-back coaching sessions, things went south. The couples ended up worse than when we started.
And BOTH couples violated my #1 rule for working with me… one by accident and the other on purpose(!). Had I not been clear enough? Nope. I was pretty clear.
The person scheduling had simply not heeded my warning. And it played out just the way I knew it would when the rule is broken.
How did I know? I saw it time and again when I was a therapist… until I made my rule.
Now, I only see it when they break my rule. But when it happens… whew… what a mess to clean up (and sometimes, it can’t be cleaned!).
