Being a Good Husband Is a Skill. Here’s How to Learn It.
Watch this short training from marriage coach Dr. Lee Baucom: why good intentions aren’t enough,
one skill to start using tonight, and how The Husband Bootcamp builds the rest, one day at a time.
Maybe Things Aren't Where You Want Them to Be.
Maybe you and your wife aren't as close as you used to be.
Maybe the same arguments keep coming up.
Maybe you feel like you're trying, but whatever you do doesn't seem to make much difference.
Or maybe things aren't terrible. You just know they could be better.
Here's what I want you to know:
You don't have to become a different man to become a better husband.
But you may need to learn some things you were never taught.
How to listen differently. How to handle disagreements. How to understand your wife's perspective without losing your own. How to stop approaching marriage as two individuals trying to get their needs met, and start thinking like a team.
A WE.
Those are skills. And skills can be learned.
That's why I created The Husband Bootcamp.
Thirty days of practical video lessons, worksheets, and homework to help you develop those skills and start putting them to work in your marriage.
Not to make you perfect.
Not to give you some secret technique to change your wife.
But to help you become the kind of husband you want to be.
Because you can't do your wife's part of the marriage. But you can get better at yours.
A Little About the Guy
Behind The Husband
Bootcamp
I've been married to the same woman for 38 years. So I've had a little practice at this marriage thing.
I’ve also spent over thirty years, since 1992, helping people build better marriages.
I was originally trained as a marriage therapist, but I became frustrated with the results of traditional marriage therapy. I wanted to focus less on analyzing problems and more on helping people learn what to do differently.
So I shifted into coaching.
In 1999, I launched SaveTheMarriage.com. Since then, my programs have been used around the world (every continent except Antarctica!), I've coached people across the globe, written seven books, and hosted the Save The Marriage Podcast, which is approaching 6 million downloads.
But here's what all those years have taught me:
A better marriage rarely happens just because someone wants one. It tends to come from learning what to do differently — and actually doing it.
That's why I created The Husband Bootcamp.
To give you practical skills you can start using in your marriage. One day at a time.
